Fire Headquarters - Station 41

272 Schoolhouse Road

Engine 41 (E-41)             

    A 1981 Mack CF-688, 2000 GPM Pumper. This apparatus carries 500 gallons of water, 1000 ft of 3.5" supply hose and 750 ft of 2.5 " supply hose. There are 2 200 ft preconnected attack lines, 1 2.5" attack line, 2 150 ft apartment bundles, 1 200 ft 2.5" attack line, 1 200 ft 2.5" commercial supply line and 24 ft of 2.5" & 24ft of 5" hard suction hose and various other hand tools and fire equipment. This unit caries the "jaws", electric powered exhaust fan, a 5kw portable generator and telescoping and portable scene lighting. There are 3 SCBA units and 3 spare bottles for interior firefighting. This unit also carries the Thermal Imager (TIC) as well as the explosive gas detector.

Aid 41(A-41)          

    A 2008 Ford F-450 4x4 Ambulance with built in snow chains. This Ambulance is equipped to handle up to 2 patients at the same time and provide care from the basic (BLS) through Intermediate (ILS) all the way to Paramedic (ALS) level. This apparatus is also equipped to support 2 interior Firefighters.

Tender 41(T-41)           

    A 1990 International DT4600 6 x 6 Tractor and a 1967 Fruehauf Trailer. This unit carries 5000 gallons of water, 76 ft of 3" hard suction hose, 3 portable pumps capable of pumping up to 1,000 GPM and an assortment of fittings and fire hoses in order to connect to a wide range of apparatus

Tender 44 (T-44)        

    A 1979 GMC Brigadier chassis which carries 3000 gallons of water, has 1 portable pumps capable of pumping up to 325 GPM and an assortment of fittings and fire hoses in order to connect to a wide range of apparatus in order to provide firefighting water.

Brush 41 (B-41)            

    A 1986 International S1600 Type 5 Brush Truck. This apparatus was acquired by the department in February of 2008 through the DNR FEPP grant program. This type 5 carries 500 gallons of water, 60 gallons of class A firefighting foam. There is a wide array of hand tools and hose to support wildland firefighting. This unit also carries 36ft of 2.5" hard suction hose to allow the pump to draw water from a river, pool or portable water tank. This apparatus can carry up to 6 firefighters.

Command 41 (C-41)          

A 1996 Chevy Suburban, which is equipped as a mobile Command Post for Search & Rescue, Rope Rescue, Swift Water Rescue, Fire Incidents, EMS Incidents and HAZMAT Incidents. This unit is assigned to the Fire Chief as his primary response apparatus. This rig is also equipped to transport patients from trail heads and other remote locations out to a waiting ambulance.

Support 41 (S-41)   

    A 1997 Jeep Cherokee. This apparatus is used for a variety of purposes; transporting supplies, transporting personnel to fire scenes as well as to and from schools that are out of the area.

Marine 41(MR-41)      

    A 2001 21 foot Zodiac SRMN patrol Boat. This unit is used to extricate patients from the shore line or from a boat located in the Hood Canal water way. This boat can also be used to deploy the ridged oil spill containment booms in the event of a hazmat spill on the Hood Canal water way using the WA DOE pre positioned spill trailer from  Station 41.

Engine 42(E-42)                 

    A 1984 Mack CF-611, 1000 GPM Pumper. It carries 500 gallons of water, 1000 ft of 3.5" supply line, 800 ft of 2.5" supply line. There are 2 200ft preconnected attack lines, 1 200ft 2.5" attack lines, 1 200ft 2.5" combination supply line, 2 150ft Apartment bundles and 24ft of 2.5" & 24ft of 6" hard suction hose. This apparatus also carries a portable generator, telescoping scene lighting and gas powered desmoking fan and various other hand tools and fire equipment. There are 3 Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and 3 spare air bottles for 3 interior Firefighters. 

Aid 42 (A-42)                

    A 1997 Ford E-350 Ambulance. This Ambulance is equipped to handle up to 2 patients at the same time and provide care from the basic (BLS) through Intermediate (ILS) all the way to Paramedic (ALS) level. This apparatus is also equipped to support 2 interior Firefighters.

 

Maurey Anderson Station - Station 43

Engine 43 (E-43)        

    A 1980 Mack CF-611, 1000 GPM Pumper. This apparatus carries 500 gallons of water, 650 ft of 3.5" supply hose and 600 ft of 2.5 " supply hose. There are 2 200 ft preconnected attack lines, 1 2.5" attack line, 2 150 ft apartment bundles and 25 ft of 2.5" hard suction hose and various other hand tools and fire equipment. This unit carries a 2kw portable generator and telescoping scene lighting. There are 3 SCBA units and 3 spare bottles for interior firefighting.
