Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

The Brinnon Fire Department will place a proposition before voters on the August 04, 2026 ballot regarding funding for Emergency Medical Services.


The proposition would authorize the District to:

  • Restore its 2026 regular Emergency Medical Services property tax levy to $0.50 per $1,000 of assessed valuation for collection in 2027, and
  • Establish a 4 percent limit factor for each of the following nine years.

The Brinnon Fire Department will place a proposition before voters on the August 04, 2026 ballot.


The proposition would authorize the district to:

  • Restore its 2026 regular property tax levy to $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed valuation for collection in 2027, and
  • Establish a 4 percent limit factor for each of the following nine years.

Pro/Con Committees Needed

In accordance with election requirements, citizens are sought to serve on committees supporting (Pro) and opposing (Con) each ballot proposition, and drafting statements for the local voters' pamphlet.  Each Pro and Con committee will consist of three members.

The deadline to appoint the Pro and Con Committees is May 1, 2026.  Citizens interested in participating should contact Tim Manly at 360‑796‑4450, no later than April 27, 2026.
