About the Brinnon Fire Department

Established in 1959, the Brinnon Fire Department (JCFD #4) protects approximately 131 square miles of rural Jefferson County, Washington. The district contains vast wilderness including the Olympic National Forest and land managed by the US Forest Service and Department of Natural Resources.

We provide fire, rescue, emergency medical, and other public safety services to the Brinnon area.  We also provide mutual assistance to our colleagues in neighboring areas.

For current information about  ongoing fire department operations, road conditions. and other public safety issues, follow us on our Facebook page.
